Message from the Monthly Flyer from February 2009

Revelation 4,8-11 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. Rev And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

I believe that when God revealed this vision to the apostle John, there was obviously a reason behind it. I don’t believe that this vision was for the purpose of just giving us a quick view of heaven, of what it’s like there, but rather also to demonstrate how our daily life should be here. Just remember, there are many reasons why we can constantly praise God.

It is written in verse 8: “and they rest not day and night, saying...” I would like to know what our daily life would look like, if we would praise God throughout the whole day in one mind and accord. And in everything which we do, and in everything which we say. We thanked Him. We cried out, Holy! Holy! Holy!

If we would simply lay down our worldly possessions and worship God, would that change our situation? Would it change our world? Would the world experience our Savior? Yes. Yes. Yes. mb
