Our Life Preserver

Psalm 61:1-3 Hear my cry, O God; attend to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call out to You whenever my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been my refuge, a tower of strength against the enemy.

1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

God's Word is our life preserver

What do we do when we feel overwhelmed by it all? When what we are dealing with has become more than we can deal with, where do we go? Who’s our life preserver?

“They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts. Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.” Ps 119:87-88

No matter what has come our way our preservation is in keeping our path following His. Continuing in the Word of God, no matter what. The mercy and love of God will revive us as we trust in the Word of God. His Word is our life preserver. Don Doran
