Jesus is 100 Percent God

Luke 2:51-52 Then He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them, but His mother kept all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory.

The Bible is God’s complete instruction manual to the world. But it’s interesting that God gives us very little information about Jesus’ teenage years. For some reason God doesn’t reveal much about Jesus from His birth until His public ministry, which began when He was approximately thirty years old.

We assume that Jesus grew up like most Jewish boys except that HE was also 100 percent God.

We know from the Scriptures that Joseph, His earthly father, was a carpenter and we can assume that he taught Jesus the skills from this trade. Matthew 13:54-55, saying "Coming to his hometown [Jesus] taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, 'Where did this man get this wisdom and these mighty works? Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?'"

Only by revelation we truly understand, who Jesus is. Matthew 16:16-17 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. jk

Doubting Thomas got it finally right, when he confessed: “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28)
