1. John 4:7-12 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
is true, deep and passionate love? When you think about it, we as human
beings cannot fully comprehend the true meaning of love because we ourselves
are imperfect. Now of course, we already know what it means to love
a marriage partner, father, mother, child, boyfriend or girlfriend.
If we loved God in the same way as we do in a relationship, what we
be the result? The only thing you do when you love someone is you show
him/her how important that particular loved person is to you, how much
they mean to you, and that you really care for them, without expecting
anything in return. If you feel that way about God, can you imagine
how much greater His love is which He has for you? He loves completely
and speaks all the languages of love. What would He do, if it was your
main goal to make sure that He feels as if He is loved by you? It is
true that He is the King of kings and our Creator, however, He was also
a man at one time, who showed the greatest love that could ever be imagined.
John 15:13 "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man
lay down his life for his friends."
