In the name of Jesus Christ
Someone asked a question: "What shall we do to please God?" Many answers came from different directions to him. One of them said, we should pray and fast and read the Bible, another one mentioned we should do good works and help the poor people, orphans and widows, again another one emphasized we should pay tithes and offerings, another one argued our appearance should be modest and holy and another one voiced, we should obey and live according to the 10 commandments. Then the person who had asked the question, said: "Is that all?"

In fact this question has been asked on the day of Pentecost, the day when the first church was established. When Peter preached to the multitudes, the people asked Peter and the rest of the apostles: Men and brethren, what shall we do? (Acts 2:37)

Because the Bible said about them, they were pricked in their hearts and then Peter answered them: Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Acts 2:38-39

God wants us to be saved. Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 1. Tim 2:4

Many people ask today the same question and God answers this question in His Holy Word; read the Word of God and examine yourself and look to your heart, dear reader. Are you pleasing God?

If your heart has been pricked also, like it happened to the crowd on the day of Pentecost, are you following His commandment? His will for you is not hard and doing it, will open the way for you to go to heaven. And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. Acts 22:16

And I leave this truth in your hand. And may the Lord be with you. es
