What a Wonderful Redeemer

Isa 9:6-7 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Joh 1:1 and 14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Jesus is the key figure in the New Testament and also in our current time; and He is the prophesied Messiah of the Old Testament. Although we do not know a lot about the life of Jesus before His ministry, we do know, however, that He is the living God who came in flesh. He was completely God and also completely a human being. He died for our sins and arose again from the dead on the third day. He promised one day to come back to earth again and He wants us to be ready for His coming. Faith and obedience will urge us to do the will of God revealed in His Word. He wants to lead us to salvation and then desires to have an intimate relationship with us. This love relationship will help us to endure unto the end and to be faithful to Him, even through tribulation, persecution and every test. He wants to be our Heavenly Father, our Bridegroom and best friend. His strength and grace is always sufficient.

This month, many will be celebrating Christmas. This is a special time, however, they are not real days of celebration unless Jesus is a part of your life. One day the whole world will bow down before Him and be judged as according to their faith and works. If you belong to Jesus, you have love, peace, joy and everything which you need, because He has promised: I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10b sw
